MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) releases the top-performing schools and performance summary of all schools in the July 2021 Metallurgical Engineer Board Licensure Examination (MELE) three (3) working days after the exams.
The licensure exams for Metallurgical Engineers will be administered by the Board of Metallurgical Engineering headed by its Chairman, Agustin M. Fudolig, and its member, Juancho Pablo S. Calvez.
The PRC and the Board of Metallurgical Engineering conducted the exam in Manila/National Capital Region (NCR) and Cagayan de Oro (CDO).

In the October 2019 Metallurgical licensure exams, the University of the Philippines (UP)-Diliman was the top-performing school with 100.00% overall passing percentage. Mindanao State University placed in the second spot with 62.50% overall passing percentage.
In October 2018 of the same exam, UP-Diliman aced the top-performing school with 100.00% passing rate. Meanwhile, Mindanao State University place in the second spot with 65.91% passing percentage.

Registration of Successful Examinees
The schedule of the online registration for the issuance of PRC ID and Certificate of Registration for passers of Metallurgical Engineers Licensure Exam (MELE) will be announced online by PRC. The successful examinees are advised to register on PRC official website and follow the instructions for online registration.
Those who successfully registered online are required to bring the following:
- Duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal (downloadable)
- Notice of Admission (for identification purposes only)
- Two pieces of passport-sized ID pictures (white background and with complete name tag)
- Two sets of documentary stamps
- One piece of short brown envelope
Verification of Ratings
The Verification of Ratings (VoR) for the July 2021 Metallurgical Engineer Licensure Exam (MELE) will be available online few days after the result has been posted.
The successful examinees need the following information as it is required to fill out the following field:
- Name of Exam (e.g., Metallurgical Exam)
- Examination date
- Application number
- First name and Surname
- Date of birth
Target Date of Release
As per previous releases of Metallurgical licensure exam results and the target release date written in the PRC Resolution No. 1283 series of 2020, the July 2021 MELE results are expected to be out in three (3) working days after the last day of exams. However, it may also be released earlier or later than the said dates without prior announcement(s).
