Manila, Philippines – The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) has released the latest COVID-19 update for our Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) on Sunday, 30 May 2021. The DFA reported no cases among our Filipinos working abroad.
Meanwhile, 0 death/s has been reported.


The total cases of countries/territories with Filipino Covid-10 cases remains at 94.
A total confirmed cases as of May 30, 2021 ballooned to 19,720 OFWs, of these 4,492 were verified by the DOH IHR . About 1,179 were recorded total deaths and 12,004 were reported total recoveries by the DFA.
Meanwhile, a total of 6,537 OFWs were subject for undergoing treatment, of these 4,185 were from the Middle East and Africa, 1,307 were from Asia Pacific Region, 930 were from Europe and 115 were from Americas.
According to the DFA, the total number of COVID-19 recoveries and deaths marginally decrease to 61.10% and 6.24%, respectively. Meanwhile those undergoing treatment has increased to 32.65%.

As of May 31, the Department of Health (DOH) said that the number of active cases in the Philippines has increased to 54,290 with 6,684 reported new cases today. 6,098 were reported new recoveries giving the total number of recoveries to 1,155,045. Complete details are presented in the table below.
