Israel medical experts arrived in the PH to support in vaccine rollout

Manila, Philippines – Three (3) medical doctors from Israeli Ministry of Health arrived in the Philippines on Sunday, June 20, to help the country in COVID-19 Vaccine rollout.

The medical doctors namely Dr. Avraham Ben-Zaken, Dr. Adam Segal, and Dr. Dafna Segol arrived at 4:15 PM at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport via Emirates Airlines Flight No. EK332.

Vaccine czar and chief implementer Carlito Galvez welcomed the arrival of the three (3) medical doctors who will share their expertise in vaccine rollout like Pfizer and Moderna in the Philippines.

Philippine Ambassador to Israel Macairog Alberto thank the three (3) medical doctors who are willing to extend their help in the Philippines in combating COVID-19 and vaccination program in the Philippines.

Philippine Ambassador to Israel Macairog Alberto said, “On behalf of the Philippine government, I wish to thank the Israeli government for sending this mission and the members of the medical team for their generosity in taking part in this mission to share their expertise in ensuring the success in combating coronavirus and the vaccination program in the Philippines.”

In regards with the inoculation program in all countries worldwide, Israel is among the highest vaccination rates in administering vaccination rollout with 59% national vaccination rate as of Friday, June 18 and has been considered as a pioneer in handling the COVID-19 cases.

The medical experts are expected to meet with our very own medical experts to share their expertise in managing the vaccination rollout and likewise expected to visit some areas where the vaccine rollout is present.

The Israelis doctors will be in the country from June 20 until Friday, June 25.
