Passing percentage of last Bar Exams was 72%, arguably the most colorful and the hardest examination in the country. If that is so, then why passing percentage of the previous dentistry board exams was only 40%?
I hope the passing rate this time is high
true. considering it’s already 70% passing rate, the odds of passing percentage should already be high, however it also depends on the examinee’s performance. But I hope a lot of them will pass bc we all know how hard it is to prepare for the boards.
Don’t know much about the bar exam but I took the licensure exam for dentists. Our licensure exam has 2 phases (the boards is 5 days in total) and I guess you knew about that. Not only do we have to pass the written exam but we also need to be competent enough to pass the practical phase. DLE and the bar exam are two very different things. You can’t possibly compare them. The most plausible answer to your question is that maybe there were many competent aspiring lawyers who took the bar this year. With the DLE, maybe not so much but I might be wrong. And just in case you’re wondering, yes, I passed the DLE.
