Oil price hike before the end of the month

MANILA, Philippines – Oil companies in the Philippines are expected to increase before the month ends.

In separate advisories, Caltex, Cleanfuel, Petro Gazz, Seaoil, and Shell have released their latest price adjustment per liter of gasoline, diesel, and kerosene.

Seaoil, Flying V, Petron, Shell, and Caltex oil firms release their oil price adjustment in kerosene, diesel, and gasoline. The prices per liter of gasoline will increase by 0.40, kerosene by 0.70, diesel by 0.60. The advisories of the said firm will take effect on Tuesday, August 31 at 6:00 a.m. Caltex on the other hand will take effect the price adjustment by 12:01 a.m. on the same day.

Cleanfuel also releases their oil price adjustment in gasoline and diesel. The prices per liter of gasoline and diesel will increase by 0.35 and 0.50 respectively. This advisory will take effect on Tuesday, August 31 at 4:01 pm.

Petro Gazz, Phoenix, and PTT Philippines are also set to increase their oil prices. The prices per liter of gasoline and diesel will increase by 0.40 and 0.60 per liter respectively. This advisory will take effect on Tuesday, August 31 at 6:00 am.

The Year-to-date adjustments in fuel prices resulted in net rises of P12.45 per liter for gasoline, P9.35 per liter for diesel, and P7.40 per liter for kerosene products, according to the Department of Energy (DOE) monitoring report.
