Forecast Weather Conditions

PAGASA is currently observing a Low-Pressure Area (LPA) as it enters 100 km Southeast Guiuan, Eastern Samar (10.5°N, 126.5°E). Due to the Northeast Monsoon’s cold and dry breeze, the likelihood of this LPA dissipating is high. However, further observations will occur as the LPA enters the Philippine Area of Responsibility.

As the Northeast Monsoon continues to affect Luzon, areas such as Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, and Aurora can expect “cloudy skies with rains.” This weather condition can cause “possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to, at times, heavy rains.” On the other hand, Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have “partly cloudy to cloudy skies with light rains,” bringing “no significant impact” on the land areas.

MIMAROPA, CALABARZON, Bicol Region, Eastern, and Western Visayas will be the main areas the LPA will affect, bringing “cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms.” Residents should prepare for “possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to, at times, heavy rains.”

The trough of LPA and localized thunderstorms will affect the rest of the country. These remaining areas can expect “partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.” There will also be possible flash floods and landslides due to this weather condition.

Wind and Coastal Water Conditions
