Forecast Weather Conditions

PAGASA closely monitors the Low-Pressure Area (LPA) as it continuously moves steadily towards  245 km East Southeast of Davao City (5.9°N, 127.5°E). However, the likelihood of the LPA transforming into a Tropical Cyclone is still low. In the next two days, PAGASA predicts it will move toward SOCCKSARGEN and eventually dissolve. Any changes that may occur will be carefully observed.

The LPA will continue to affect several parts of the country, such as Visayas, Mindanao, Romblon, Albay, Sorsogon, and Masbate. These areas will experience “cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms,” bringing “possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to heavy rains.”

Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, the rest of Bicol Region, Aurora, Laguna, Quezon, Marinduque, and Oriental Mindoro will have “cloudy skies with rains” due to the Northeast Monsoon. This weather condition will cause “possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to, at times, heavy rains.”

The Northeast Monsoon will also affect Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon. However, these areas will only experience “partly cloudy to cloudy skies with light rains,” bringing “no significant impact” on the land areas.

Wind and Coastal Water Conditions
