PNP COVID-19 Updates (Active Cases, Deaths, Recoveries) as of May 1, 2021

MANILA, Philippines – The Philippine National Police (PNP) Health Service Deparment has issued the list of new COVID-19 status (active cases, deaths, recoveries) as of May 1, 2021.

As per the department, there were 123 new Covid-19 Cases bringing the total number of active cases to 1,678. There were 167 additional recovering bring to a total of 18,535.

Meanwhile no deaths were recorded.

COVID-19 Latest Updates in the Philippines

The number of Covid-19 in the Philippines has reached 1,046,653, with 9,226 new recorded Covid-19 cases on Saturday, May 1, 2021.

The total active cases as of May 1, 2021 ballooned to 72,248 from which 10,809 were recorded new recoveries.. 120 were recorded new deaths giving a total death toll to 17,354.

DOH likewise reminded the public to practice the use of protective measures such as wearing mask and wearing face shield.

The Department also encourages the people to practice proper sanitation such as using alcohol-based or washing hands this also may protect us from spreading the said virus.
