Manila, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has announced that the August 9, 10, & 11, 2021 schedule for Mining Engineers Licensure Examinations (MELE) for National Capital Region (NCR) will be cancelled pursuant to Resolution No. 130-A (s. 2021).
Meanwhile, PRC Baguio, Cebu, Legazpi, and Koronadal shall proceed on the dates of examination as scheduled.
The PRC and the Board of Mining Engineering will administer the exams on August 9, 10, & 11, 2021 at Manila/ National Capital Region (NCR), Baguio, Cebu, and Davao.

To quote from PRC,
“While the public is concerned about the surge COVID-19, the PRC appeals for the public’s tolerance and cooperation as it follows the IATF-MEID guidelines.”
Most of the exams were rescheduled for the third and fourth quarter of 2021 but no assurance if these will still pursue due to community quarantines due to the surge of Delta Variant Corona Virus Disease (COVID-19).
