MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) released the complete list of top 10 examinees /topnotchers for the August 2021 Mining Engineering Licensure Exam in three (3) working days after the exams.
The licensure exams for Mining Engineering were administered by the PRC and Board of Mining Engineering headed by its Chairman, Cornelio Q. Casido, and its members, Rufino B. Bomasang and Augusto C. Villaluna.
The PRC and the Board of Mining Engineering conducted the exams in Legazpi, Baguio, Cebu and Koronadal.

In the same exam held last August 2019, Rachel Angela Penuliar Ferrer of the University of the Philippines – Diliman ranked first in the Mining Engineering Licensure Exam. Following in the second spot who garnered 90.50% is Gian Carlo Masagca Seblos of the University of the Philippines – Diliman.
In the same exam, Santiago Buemia Agripa Jr of the Bicol University – Legazpi ranked first in the August 2018 Mining Engineering Licensure Exam. Following the spot, Sheen Michael King Akit Tidadul of the Cebu Institute of Technology – University ranks second.
In the same exam, Pompeii Nikolai Montealegre Subingsubing of the Cebu Institute of Technology ranked first in the August 2017 Mining Engineering Licensure Exam. Following the spot, Phillip Santi Moncano Morgia of the University of the Philippines ranked second.
Registration of Successful Examinees
The schedule of the online registration for the issuance of PRC ID and Certificate of Registration for passers of Mining Engineering Licensure Exam will be announced online by PRC. The successful examinees are advised to register on PRC official website and follow the instructions for online registration.
Those who successfully registered online are required to bring the following:
- Duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal (downloadable)
- Notice of Admission (for identification purposes only)
- Two pieces of passport-sized ID pictures (white background and with complete name tag)
- Two sets of documentary stamps
- One piece of short brown envelope
Verification of Ratings
The Verification of Ratings (VoR) for the August 2021 Mining Engineering Licensure Exam will be available online a few days after the result has been posted.
The successful examinees need the following information as it is required to fill out the following field:
- Name of Exam (e.g., Mining Exam)
- Examination date
- Application number
- First name and Surname
- Date of birth
Target Date of Release
As per previous releases of Mining Engineering licensure exam results and the target release date written in the PRC Resolution No. 1283 series of 2020, the August 2021 Mining Engineering Licensure Exam results are expected to be out in two (2) working days after the last day of exams. However, it may also be released earlier or later than the said dates without prior announcement(s).
