TOP 10: RadTech and X-Ray Tech Licensure Exams May 2021

MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has announced the complete list of top 10 examinees/ topnotchers for the May 2021 Radiologic Technologists (RadTech) and X-Ray Technologist Licensure Examination.

As per PRC announcement, 776 out of 1,917 passed the Radiologic Technologist Licensure Examination and 21 out of 77 passed the X-Ray Technologist Licensure Examination.

The PRC and the Board of Radiologic Technology conducted the RadTech and X-Ray Tech exams in NCR, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legaspi, Lucena, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.

Here are the Top 10 successful examinees who garnered the highest percentage of rating in May 2021 X-Ray Technologist Licensure Examination;

Previous RadTech and X-Ray Tech topnotchers

In the previous RadTech licensure (July 2019), Kathleen Cleo Jimenez Leonardo of the University of Perpetual Help System Dalta-Las Pinas was the topnotcher with 91.20%. Sharing in the second spot who garnered 91% in was from Emilio Aguinaldo College-Dasmarinas, Rica Ella Fortaleza Bocala and John Mark Licaros Diwan from Dr. P. Ocampo Colleges.

Christine Joyce Limbo Villanueva of the Perpetual Help College of Manila was the topnotcher in the July 2019 X-Ray Tech Licensure Exam with 85.75%. Following is Star Grace Caron Gonzales of Virgen Milagrosa University Foundation with 84.25.

In the July 2018 of the same exams, Jomar Cabral De Guzman of The Good Samaritan Colleges – Cabanatuan City placed in the top 1 with 91.00% while Mark Marcos Alipio of Davao Doctors’ College and Angelo Babanto Ramos of Liceo de Cagayan University placed in the second spot with 90.40%.

Meanwhile, Eduard Osinsao Nite of the College of Our Lady of Mercy Pulilan Foundation, Inc-Pulilan was the topnotcher in the July 2018 X-Ray Tech Licensure Exam with 88.00% followed by Jose Michael Tamayo Borja of the De La Salle University-Health Sciences having 86.25%

Registration of Successful Examinees

The schedule of the online registration for the issuance of PRC ID and Certificate of Registration for passers of RadTech and X-Ray Tech will be announced on-line by the PRC. The successful examinees are advised to register in PRC official website and follow the instructions for online registration.

Those who successfully registered online are required to bring the following:

  • Duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal (downloadable)
  • Notice of Admission (for identification purposes only)
  • Two pieces of passport-sized ID pictures (white background and with complete name tag)
  • Two sets of documentary stamps
  • One piece of short brown envelope

Verification of Ratings

The Verification of Ratings (VoR) for May 2021 RadTech and X-Ray Tech will be available online few days after the result has been posted.

The successful examinees need the following information as it is required to fill out the following field:

  • Name of Exam (e.g., Radiologic Technology)
  • Examination date
  • Application number
  • First name and Surname
  • Date of birth

Target Date of Release

According to PRC Resolution No. 1283, the target released date of results for the May 2021 RadTech and X-Ray Tech Licensure Exams will be by 20-24 of May 2021. It may also be released earlier or later than the said dates without prior announcement(s).
