TOP SCHOOLS: Civil Engineer CE Board Exam April 2023

CE BOARD EXAM RESULT 2023 – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) will release the top-performing schools and performance summary of all schools for the April 2023 Civil Engineer (CE) Licensure Exam in 4 working days after the exams.

PRC announces that 5,887 out of 16,936 passed the Civil Engineers Licensure Examination.

The licensure exams for Civil Engineer were administered by PRC and the Board of Civil Engineering headed by its Chairman, Engr. Praxedes P. Bernardo and its members, Engr. Pericles P. Dakay and Engr. Romeo A. Estañero.

The PRC and the Board of Civil Engineering conducted the exams on April 23-24, 2023 at testing areas in Manila/National Capital Region (NCR), Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legaspi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga.

Previous Civil Engineer Licensure Exam – Top-performing Schools

The University of the Philippines-Diliman ranked first in the November 2022 CE Board Exam Top-performing school with 95.45% passing rate (105/110). University of the Philippines-Los Banos came second with 92.75% (64/69).

In May 2022 CE Licensure Exam, the University of the Philippines-Los Banos ranked first in the top-performing school with 95.00% (76/80). The University of the Philippines-Diliman followed it with 94.57% (87/92).

In the Civil Engineer Licensure Exam held last year of November, the University of the Philippines – Diliman topped the top-performing school with 92.86%, or 52 out of 56 passed the exam.

Carlos A. Hilado Memorial State College – Talisay was the top-performing school in the November 2019 Civil Engineer Licensure Exam with a 98.00% rating or 49 out of 50 examinees passed the licensure exam. University of the Philippines – Los Baños came second with 96.92% or 63 out of 65 examinees who passed the licensure exam.

In the Civil Engineer Licensure Exam held last November 2018, the University of the Philippines – Los Baños ranked first with 98.63%, or 72 out of 73 examinees passed the board exams. Carlos A. Hilado Memorial State College – Talisay came second with 96.08% or 49 out of 51 examinees passed the exam.

In the November 2017 Civil Engineer Licensure Exam, the University of the Philippines – Diliman topped the exam with 97.41%, or 113 out of 116 examinees passed the exam. University of the Philippines – Los Baños came second with 96.55% or 56 out of 58 passed the exam.

Registration of Successful Examinees

The PRC has announced the schedule of the online registration for the issuance of PRC ID and Certificate of Registration for passers of the Civil Engineer Licensure Exam will be from June 13 – 16, June 19 – 23 and June 26 – 30, 2023. The successful examinees are advised to register on PRC’s official website and follow the instructions for online registration.

Those who successfully registered online are required to bring the following:

  • Duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal (downloadable)
  • Notice of Admission (for identification purposes only)
  • Two pieces of passport-sized ID pictures (white background and complete name tag)
  • Two sets of documentary stamps
  • One piece of the short brown envelope

Verification of Ratings

The Verification of Ratings (VoR) for the April 2023 Civil Engineer Licensure Exam will be available online a few days after the result has been posted.

The successful examinees need the following information as it is required to fill out the following field:

  • Name of Exam
  • Examination date
  • Application number
  • First name and Surname
  • Date of birth

Target Date of Release

As per previous releases of Civil Engineer Licensure Exam results and the target release date written in the PRC Resolution No. 1283 series of 2020, the April 2023 Civil Engineer Licensure Exam results are expected to be out in 4 working days after the last day of exams. However, it may also be released earlier or later than the said dates without prior announcement(s).
