MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) will release the complete list of best/ top-performing schools in December 2022 Radiologic Technologists (RadTech) and X-Ray Technologist Licensure Examination in three (3) working after the exam.
PRC nnounces that 385 out of 1,237 passed the Radiologic Technologists Licensure Examination and 35 out of 131 passed the X-Ray Technologists Licensure Examination.
PRC administered the licensure exams for Radiologic Technologist and the Board of Radiologic headed by its OIC/Member, Reynaldo Apolonio S. Tisado, and its members, Orestes P. Monzon, Bayani C. San Juan, Ma. Jesette B. Canales.
The PRC and the Board of Radiologic Technology conducted the exam in NCR, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legaspi, Lucena, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga.

Previous RadTech and X-Ray Tech Top Schools
In December 2023 RadTech Board Exam, the Top-performing school, La Consolacion University-Phils for Univ. of Regina Carmeli ranked first with 100% (20/20). Saint Louis University came second with 89.80% (88/98). X-Ray Tech Board exam Top-performing school none are qualifies.
In December 2021 RadTech Board Exam, De La Salle Medical and Health Sciences Inst. ranked first in the top-performing school with 84.21% passing rate (32/38). Saint Louis University came second with 83.33% passing rate (20/24)
In the X-Ray Tech Board exam, none were qualified in the December 2021 Top-performing school.
In December 2020 RadTech Licensure Exam, Saint Louis University ranked first with 89.06%, or 57 out of 64 examinees passed the exam. In the X-Ray Tech Licensure exam, non was qualified.
In the previous RadTech, Saint Louis University was the top-performing school in four (4) consecutive years, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019.
The University of Makati on the other hand placed second in the top-performing schools list for July 2019 RadTech licensure exam with 93.44 % overall passing rate. Davao Doctors’ College, Inc. placed second in top performing school for July 2018 and 2017 RadTech board with 87.13% and 83.33 % overall passing rate respectively.
Meanwhile, none of the top-performing schools qualified for the July 2019 and 2018, and 2017 X-Ray Tech Licensure Exam.
Registration of Successful Examinees
The schedule of the online registration for the issuance of PRC ID and Certificate of Registration for passers of RadTech and X-Ray Tech will be from August 2 – 4 and August 7, 2023. The successful examinees are advised to register on PRC official website and follow the instructions for online registration.
Those who successfully registered online are required to bring the following:
- Duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal (downloadable)
- Notice of Admission (for identification purposes only)
- Two pieces of passport-sized ID pictures (white background and with complete name tag)
- Two sets of documentary stamps
- One piece of short brown envelope
Verification of Ratings
The Verification of Ratings (VoR) for the June 2023 RadTech and X-Ray Tech Licensure Exam will be available online few days after the result has been posted.
The successful examinees need the following information as it is required to fill out the following field:
- Name of Exam (e.g., Radiologic Technology)
- Examination date
- Application number
- First name and Surname
- Date of birth
Target Date of Release
As per previous releases of RadTech and X-Ray Tech Licensure Examination results and the target release date written in the PRC Resolution No. 1283 series of 2020, the June 2023 RadTech and X-Ray Tech Licensure Examination results are expected to be out in four (4) working days after the last day of exams. However, it may also be released earlier or later than the said dates without prior announcement(s).
Who are the RadTechs and X-Ray Techs?
Radiologic Technologist is a health care professional who is responsible for providing information and performing diagnostic imaging procedures for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes.
Meanwhile, X-Ray Technologists are responsible for the operation of x-ray machines and conducting appropriate diagnoses of the patient.
