TOP SCHOOLS: Nurse Board Exam NLE November 2023

MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) will announce the top-performing schools and performance summary of all schools in the November 2023 Nurse Licensure Examination (NLE) 14 working days after the exams.

The PRC announced that 25,761 out of 32,203 passed the Philippine Nurses Licensure Examination.

The licensure exams for professional nurses are administered by the PRC and the Board of Professional Nursing (BON) headed by its Chairman, Glenda S. Arquiza, and its members, Carmelita C. Divinagracia, Gloria B. Arcos, Carfredda P. Dumlao, Florence C. Cawaon, Cora A. Añonuevo, and Elizabeth C. Lagrito.

The PRC and the Board of Professional Nursing conducted the exam on May 28-29, 2023 in National Capital Region (NCR), Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.

Here are the top-performing schools that garnered the highest ratings in the November 2023 Nurse Licensure Exam (NLE):

Previous Nurse Top Schools

In May 2023 NLE, the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (195/195), Angeles University Foundation (157/157), Cavite State University -Don Severio Agrl. College (143/143), Bukidnon State University (87/87), and Southern Luzon State University 61/61)with 100% passing rates were among the top notchers in Top-performing schools. The University of Pangasinan came second with a 99.40% passing rate (167/168).

In the May 2022 NLE Top-performing school, Far Eastern University-Nicanor Reyes Med.Found. ranked first with 98.28% ratings or 57 out of 58 examinees passed the exam. The University of Pangasinan came second with 92.54% or 62 out of 67 examinees who passed the exam.

The University of Santo Tomas was the top-performing school in the November 2021 NLE with 100% (58/58). It was followed by the Adventist University of the Philippines with 90.63% or 58 out of 64 passing the exam.

In the July 2021 Nurse Licensure Exam, Saint Louis University ranked first with a 100% passing rate or 75 examinees passed the licensure exam. Saint Paul University – Tuguegarao and University of Pangasinan ranked second with the same percentage rating and a number of examinees of 96.08% and 49 out of 51 examinees passed the exam.

In the November 2019 Nurses licensure exams, the University of Santo Tomas (UST), Saint Louis University (SLU), and De La Salle Med. & Health Sciences Inst. (For. DLSU-DASMA HSC) was the top-performing school with a 100.00% overall passing percentage. Velez College placed in the second spot with a 98.98% overall passing percentage

In November 2018 on the same exam, UST aced the top-performing school with a 100.00% passing rate. Meanwhile, SLU placed in the second spot with a 98.52% passing percentage.

In November 2017 the same exam, UST and Benguet State University was the top-performing school with a 100% overall passing percentage. Saint Louis University placed in the second spot with a 99.39% overall passing percentage.

Registration of Successful Examinees

The online registration schedule for the issuance of PRC ID and Certificate of Registration for passers of the Nurses Licensure Exam (NLE) will be on January 15 – 19, January 22 – 26, January 29 – 31, February 1 – 2, February 5 – 9, February 12 – 16, February 19 – 23, February 26 – 29, March 1, March 4 – 8 and
March 11 – 12, 2024. The successful examinees are advised to register on PRC’s official website and follow the instructions for online registration.

Those who successfully registered online are required to bring the following:

  • Duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal (downloadable)
  • Notice of Admission (for identification purposes only)
  • Two pieces of passport-sized ID pictures (white background and complete name tag)
  • Two sets of documentary stamps
  • One piece of the short brown envelope

Verification of Ratings

The Verification of Ratings (VoR) for the November 2023 Nurses Licensure Exam (NLE) will be available online a few days after the result has been posted.

The successful examinees need the following information as it is required to fill out the following field:

  • Name of Exam (e.g., Nurse Exam)
  • Examination date
  • Application number
  • First name and Surname
  • Date of birth

Target Date of Release

As per previous releases of NLE results, the November 2023 NLE results are expected to be out in 14 working days after the last day of exams. However, it may also be released earlier or later than the said dates without prior announcement(s).
