MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) releases the top-performing schools and performance summary of all schools for the October 2021 Certified Public Accountant Licensure Examination (CPALE) in five (5) working days after the exams.
PRC announces that 361 out of 2,367 passed the Certified Public Accountant Licensure Examination.
The licensure exams for Certified Public Accountant are administered by PRC and the Board of Accountancy headed by its Chairman, Noe G. Quiñanola, Vice Chairman, Marko Romeo L. Fuentes, and its members, Gloria T. Baysa, Samuel B. Padilla, Arlyn Juanita S. Villanueva, Thelma S. Ciudadano and Gervacio I. Piator (inhibited).
The PRC and the Board of Accountancy conducted the exams on October 10, 11, & 12, 2021 in Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legaspi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga.

Previous CPALE – Top performing Schools
In the Certified Public Accountant Licensure Exam held last October 2019, University of the Philippines – Diliman was the top perfroming school with 84.21% or 64 out of 76 passed the licensure exam.
University of the Philippines (UP) – Diliman was the top performing school in the October 2018 CPALE with 94.52% or 69 out of 73 examinees passed the exam. De La Salle University – Manila came second with 86.84% or 66 out of 76 passed the exam.
University of the Philippines – Diliman was the topped performing school in the October 2017 CPALE with 100% passing rate or 69 examinees successfully passed the exam. De La Salle University came second with 92.66% or 101 out of 109 examiness passed the exam.
Registration of Successful Examinees
The schedule of the online registration for the issuance of PRC ID and Certificate of Registration for passers of Certified Public Accountant Licensure Exam will be from November 16 to November 19, 2021. The successful examinees are advised to register on PRC official website and follow the instructions for online registration.
Those who successfully registered online are required to bring the following:
- Duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal (downloadable)
- Notice of Admission (for identification purposes only)
- Two pieces of passport-sized ID pictures (white background and with complete name tag)
- Two sets of documentary stamps
- One piece of short brown envelope
Verification of Ratings
The Verification of Ratings (VoR) for the October 2021 Certified Public Accountant Licensure Exam will be available online a few days after the result has been posted.
The successful examinees need the following information as it is required to fill out the following field:
- Name of Exam
- Examination date
- Application number
- First name and Surname
- Date of birth
Target Date of Release
As per previous releases of Certified Public Accountant Licensure Examination results and the target release date written in the PRC Resolution No. 1283 series of 2020, the October 2021 Certified Public Accountant Licensure Examination results are expected to be out in six (6) working days after the last day of exams. However, it may also be released earlier or later than the said dates without prior announcement(s).
