TOP SCHOOLS: September 2022 Librarian Board Exam, Performance of Schools

MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) releases the top-performing schools and performance summary of all schools for the September 2022 Librarian Licensure (LLE) in 3 working days after the exams.

PRC announces that 250 out of 634 passed the Librarian Licensure Examination.

The licensure exams for Librarians were administered by the PRC and the Board of Librarians headed by its Chairman, Yolanda C. Granda, and its member, Lourdes T. David.

The PRC and the Board of Librarians administered the exams on September 12-13, 2022 at Manila/ National Capital Region (NCR), Baguio, Cagayan De Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Rosales, Tacloban, and Tuguegarao.

Previous Library Licensure Exam – Top Performing Schools

In September 2022 LLE, the University of the Philippines-Diliman (10/10), Saint Paul University-Surigao (9/9), Adventist University of the Philippines (7/7), and University of Mindanao-Davao City (7/7) were topped the top-performing school.

In the Librarian Licensure Exam held last September 2019, the University of the Philippines – Diliman ranked first with 100.00%, or 36 examinees passed the board exams. Following the lead, Benguet State University – La Trinidad ranked second with 91.18%%, or 31 out of 34 examinees passed the exam.

In the same exam, Benguet State University (BSU) – La Trinidad topped in the September 2018 Librarian Licensure Examination- Top Performing School with 80.36% or 45 out of 56 examinees passed the exams.

In the same exam, the University of the Philippines- Diliman ranked first in the September 2017 Librarian Licensure Examination- Top Performing School with 100% or 27 examinees passed the exam. Following the spot, UST ranked second 90.00%, or 27 out of 30 examinees passed the exam.

Registration of Successful Examinees

The schedule of the online registration for the issuance of PRC ID and Certificate of Registration for passers of the Librarian Licensure Exam will be from October 21 to October 24, 2022. The successful examinees are advised to register on PRC’s official website and follow the instructions for online registration.

Those who successfully registered online are required to bring the following:

  • Duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal (downloadable)
  • Notice of Admission (for identification purposes only)
  • Two pieces of passport-sized ID pictures (white background and complete name tag)
  • Two sets of documentary stamps
  • One piece of the short brown envelope

Verification of Ratings

The Verification of Ratings (VoR) for the September 2022 Librarian Licensure Exam will be available online a few days after the result has been posted.

The successful examinees need the following information as it is required to fill out the following field:

  • Name of Exam
  • Examination date
  • Application number
  • First name and Surname
  • Date of birth

Target Date of Release

As per previous releases of Librarian Licensure Exam results and the target release date written in the PRC Resolution No. 1283 series of 2020, the September 2022 Librarian Licensure Exam results are expected to be out in 3 working days after the last day of exams. However, it may also be released earlier or later than the said dates without prior announcement(s).
