MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) will release the top-performing schools and performance summary of all schools for the September 2023 REE & RME Licensure Exam in 4 working days after the exams.
PRC announces that 1,218 out of 3,945 passed the Registered Electrical Engineers Licensure Examination and 800 out of 1,490 passed the Registered Master Electricians Licensure Examination.
The licensure exams for REE & RME were administered by PRC and the Board of Electrical Engineering headed by its Chairman, Engr. Francis V. Mapile, and its member, Engr. Jaime V. Mendoza.
The PRC and the Board of Electrical Engineering conducted the exam on September 2-4 2023 at Manila/ National Capital Region (NCR), Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legaspi, Lucena, Pagadian, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.

Previous REE Top Performing School
Polytechnic University of the Philippines-Sto. Tomas bagged the Top-performing school in the April 2023 REE Board exam with a 100% passing rate (56/56). It was followed by the University of Batangas with an 86.67% passing rate (65/75).
In the September 2022 Top-performing School of REE Board Exam, the University of Santo Tomas ranked first with 90.22% (83/92). Likewise, In September 2022 top-performing school in RME Board exam, Sorsogon State College-Sorsogon ranked first with 85.19% (69/81). The Batangas State University-Alangilan came second with 82.76% (120/145).
In the April 2022 REE Board Exam, the University of the Philippines-Los Banos was the top-performing school with a 96.23% percentage rating, or 51 out of 53 passed the exam. It was followed by Mindanao State University-Iligan Institute of Tech. with 87.50% ratings or 49 out of 56 passed the exam.
In September 2021 REE Top-performing school, the Pangasinan State University – Urdaneta ranked first with 96.15%, or 50 out of 52 passed the exam. It was followed by University of Batangas with 91.67% or 77 out of 84 examinees passed the exam.
The University of Batangas and the University of the Philippines – Diliman ranked first in the September 2019 REE Licensure Examination Top Performing School with 100%, or 55 out of 55, and 33 out of 33 passed the board exams respectively. Meanwhile, the University of Saint Louis – Tuguegarao ranked second with 98.98%, or 51 out of 52 passed the board exams.
In the same exams held last September 2018, the University of Santo Tomas (UST) and the University of Saint Louis – Tuguegarao (USLT) shared the highest spot with 100% passing rate. Meanwhile, the University of Batangas ranked second with 98.31%, or 58 out of 59 passed.
Previous Registered Master Electrician – Top Performing School
In the April 2023 RME Board Exam, none were qualified in the Top-performing school.
Sorsogon State College-Sorsogon topped the April 2022 RME Top-performing school with 84.93% or 62 out of 73 passed the exam. It was followed by Batangas State University-Alangilan with 81.97% or 150 out of 183 passed the exam
Pangasinan State University – Urdaneta aced the September 2021 RME board exam as a top-performing school with 98.08% or 51 out of 52 examinees passed the exam. It was followed by Cagayan State University – Tuguegarao with 93.10% or 54 out of 58 examinees passed the exam.
The Polytechnic University of the Philippines ranked first in the September 2019 RME Licensure Examination with 100% or 55 out of 55 passed. Meanwhile, the University of Saint Louis – Tuguegarao ranked second with 98.00%, or 49 out of 50 passed.
During September 2018 exams, Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) – Sto. Tomas ranked first with 96.67% passing rate or 58 out 60 examinees passed
Registration of Successful Examinees
The online registration schedule for the issuance of PRC ID and Certificate of Registration for passers of the REE & RME Licensure Exam will be from October 9 – 13, October 16 – 20 and October 23, 2023. The successful examinees are advised to register on PRC’s official website and follow the instructions for online registration.
Those who successfully registered online are required to bring the following:
- Duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal (downloadable)
- Notice of Admission (for identification purposes only)
- Two pieces of passport-sized ID pictures (white background and complete name tag)
- Two sets of documentary stamps
- One piece of the short brown envelope
Verification of Ratings
The Verification of Ratings (VoR) for the September 2023 REE & RME Licensure Exam will be available online a few days after the result has been posted.
The successful examinees need the following information as it is required to fill out the following fields:
- Name of Exam
- Examination date
- Application number
- First name and Surname
- Date of birth
Target Date of Release
As per previous releases of REE & RME Licensure Exam results and the target release date written in the PRC Resolution No. 1283 series of 2020, the September 2023 REE & RME Board exam results are expected to be out in 4 working days after the last day of exams. However, it may also be released earlier or later than the said dates without prior announcement(s).
