MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) releases the complete list of top 10 examinees /topnotchers for the March 2022 Medical Technologist Licensure Exam (MTLE) 3 working days after the exams.
PRC announces that 4,714 out of 6,165 passed the Medical Technologists Licensure Examination.
The licensure exams for Medical Technologists were administered by the PRC and Board of Medical Technology headed by its Chairman, Dr. Marilyn A. Cabal-Barza, and its members, Ms. Marilyn R. Atienza and Ms. Marian M. Tantingco.
The PRC and the Board of Medical Technology conducted the exams on March 8-9, 2023 in Manila/National Capital Region (NCR), Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legaspi, Lucena, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga.

Kharam Baricaua Molbog of the University of Santo Tomas ranked first in the August 2022 MTLE with 91.90%. Karen Dale Lao Tan came second with 91.30% ratings.
In the March 2022 MTLE, Audrey Nicole Dumalo Tape of Far Eastern University-Manila ranked first in the exam with 90.20%. It was followed by Dianne Rose Autentico Avenido of Southwestern University with 88.60%.
In January 2022, Kyle Patrick Rivera Magistrado of the University of Santo Tomas ranked first in the Medical Technologist Licensure Exam with 90.40%. It was followed by Natalie Regina Kwan Cu of the same school with 89.30% passing rate.
In the March 2021 Medtech Licensure Exam Topnotcher, Felix Jayson Magleo Vegella of Virgen Milagrosa University Foundation ranked first in the licensure exam with 91.00%. It was followed by Rocelle Anne Ramos Leonardo of Far Eastern University (FEU)-Manila and Clarice Anne Castroverde Medrano of Emilio Aguinaldo College-Manila with both 88.30% ratings.
Fred Lawrence Delantar Samante from St. Scholastica’s College – Tacloban ranked first in the January 2021 Medtech Licensure Exam with 91.40%. Angelo Pansoy Huliganga of Far Eastern University – Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation came second with 91.20%.
In September 2019 Medtech Board Exam, Reiven John Borbon Bernales of the University of San Agustin in Iloilo City topped the licensure exam with 90.50%. It was followed by Marichu Panceras Lomotos of Silliman University with a 90.40% rating.
Registration of Successful Examinees
The schedule of the online registration for the issuance of PRC ID and Certificate of Registration for passers of the Medical Technologist Licensure Exam will be from May 2 – 5, May 8 – 12, and May 15 – 19, 2023. The successful examinees are advised to register on PRC’s official website and follow the instructions for online registration.
Those who successfully registered online are required to bring the following:
- Duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal (downloadable)
- Notice of Admission (for identification purposes only)
- Two pieces of passport-sized ID pictures (white background and complete name tag)
- Two sets of documentary stamps
- One piece of the short brown envelope
Verification of Ratings
The Verification of Ratings (VoR) for the March 2023 Medical Technologist Licensure Exam will be available online a few days after the result has been posted.
The successful examinees need the following information as it is required to fill out the following field:
- Name of Exam
- Examination date
- Application number
- First name and Surname
- Date of birth
Target Date of Release
As per previous releases of Medical Technologist Licensure Exam results and the target release date written in the PRC Resolution No. 1283 series of 2020, the March 2023 Medical Technologist Licensure Exam results are expected to be out in 3 working days after the last day of exams. However, it may also be released earlier or later than the said dates without prior announcement(s).
