MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced the list of the top 10 examinees/ topnotchers for the October 2023 Naval Architects and Marine Engineer Licensure Examination in three (23 working days after the exams.
PRC announces that 28 out of 87 passed the Naval Architects Computer-Based Licensure Examination.
The Naval Architects and Marine Engineers licensure exams were administered by the Board of Naval Architecture headed by its OIC, Engr. William B. Hernandez and its member, Engr. Edward B. Cruz.
The PRC and the Board of Naval Architecture conducted the exam in the National Capital Region (NCR).

Previous Topnotchers in Naval Architect and Marine Engineer
In October 2022, Darryl Ferrer Abapo of the University of Cebu ranked first in the Naval Architect Licensure Exam with 81.00% rating. Nothing follows.
In June 2021, Angelica Geyroza Batucan of the University of Cebu ranked first in the board exam with 89.50%. It was followed by Jenelyn Evangelista Castillo of Namei Polytechnic Institute with 88.40%.
Registration of Successful Examinees
The schedule of the online registration for the issuance of PRC ID and Certificate of Registration for passers of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers will be from November 3 and November 6, 2023. The successful examinees are advised to register and sign in to the Roster of Registered Professionals or via the PRC official website and follow the instructions for online registration.
Those who successfully registered online are required to bring the following:
- Duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal (downloadable)
- Notice of Admission (for identification purposes only)
- Two pieces of passport-sized ID pictures (white background and with complete name tag)
- Two sets of documentary stamps
- One piece of the short brown envelope
The date and venue of the successful examinees for their oath-taking ceremony will be announced by the PRC.
Verification of Ratings
The Verification of Ratings (VoR) for the October 2023 Naval Architect and Marine Engineers will be available online a few days after the result has been posted.
The successful examinees need the following information as it is required to fill out the following field:
- Name of Exam
- Examination date
- Application number
- First name and Surname
- Date of birth
Target Date of Release
According to PRC Section, 7 (d) of R.A. No. 8981, the target release date of results for the October 2023 Naval Architects and Marine Engineers Licensure Examination results is expected to be out three (3) working days after the last day of exams. However, it may also be released earlier or later than the said dates without prior announcement(s).
