TOPNOTCHERS: Registered Electrical Engineer REE Board Exam April 2023

MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) releases the complete list of top 10 examinees /topnotchers for the April 2023 Registered Electrical Engineer (REE) Licensure Exam in 3 working days after the exams.

PRC nnounces that 3,339 out of 5,771 passed the Registered Electrical Engineers Licensure Examination and 986 out of 2,336 passed the Registered Master Electricians Licensure Examination.

The licensure exams for Registered Electrical Engineers were administered by PRC and the Board of Electrical Engineering headed by its Chairman, Engr. Francis V. Mapile, and its member, Engr. Jaime V. Mendoza.

The PRC and the Board of Electrical Engineering conducted the exams on April 25-26, 2023 at Manila/ National Capital Region (NCR), Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legaspi, Lucena, Pagadian, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga.

Previous REE topnotchers

In September 2022 REE Board Exam, Felipe Acol Jimenez Jr. of Eastern Samar State University-Borongan topped the exam with 94.10%. It was followed by King Joshua Duldulao Arzzadon of Saint Louis University with 90.95%.

In April 2022 REE Board Exam, Rob Christian Magdayo Caduyac of the University of the Philippines-Los Banos topped the exam with 91.70%. It was followed by Bienvenido Barrameda To Jr. of Malayan Collegs Laguna with 90.05%.

In September 2021 REE Board Exam, Bryan Bautista Estaris of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines – Main Sta. Mesa aced the exam with 93.10%. Jaj Hiponia Sentina of the Central Philippines University ranked second with 90.60%.

During September 2019 REE exams, Mikhael Glen Borja Lataza of the University of San Carlos ranked first having an average of 92.60%. Following in the second spot who garnered 92.05% is Gerald Magalona Mier of Bicol University – Legazpi.

In the same exams held on September 2018, Niño Boy Armario Dacer of the Bicol University (BU) – Legazpi alum ranked first with 93.05%.  Eljhon Jaen Capili of Colegio de San Juan de Letran – Intramuros and Leo Marcelo Palima Villalba of Xavier University shared the second spot with 92.15%.

Registration of Successful Examinees

The schedule of the online registration for the issuance of PRC ID and Certificate of Registration for passers of REE Licensure Exam will be from June 22 – 23, June 26 – 30 and July 3 – 7, 2023. The successful examinees are advised to register on PRC’s official website and follow the instructions for online registration.

Those who successfully registered online are required to bring the following:

  • Duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal (downloadable)
  • Notice of Admission (for identification purposes only)
  • Two pieces of passport-sized ID pictures (white background and complete name tag)
  • Two sets of documentary stamps
  • One piece of the short brown envelope

Verification of Ratings

The Verification of Ratings (VoR) for the April 2023 REE Licensure Exam will be available online a few days after the result has been posted.

The successful examinees need the following information as it is required to fill out the following fields:

  • Name of Exam
  • Examination date
  • Application number
  • First name and Surname
  • Date of birth

Target Date of Release

As per previous releases of REE Licensure Exam results and the target release date written in the PRC Resolution No. 1283 series of 2020, the April 2023 REE board exam results are expected to be out in 3 working days after the last day of exams. However, it may also be released earlier or later than the said dates without prior announcement(s).
