MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) releases the list of the top 10 examinees /topnotchers for the September 2023 Registered Master Electrician (RME) Licensure Exam in 4 working days after the exams.
PRC announces that 1,218 out of 3,945 passed the Registered Electrical Engineers Licensure Examination and 800 out of 1,490 passed the Registered Master Electricians Licensure Examination.
The licensure exams for Registered Master Electricians were administered by PRC and the Board of Electrical Engineering headed by its Chairman, Engr. Francis V. Mapile, and its member, Engr. Jaime V. Mendoza.
The PRC and the Board of Electrical Engineering conducted the exams on September 4, 2023 at Manila/ National Capital Region (NCR), Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legaspi, Lucena, Pagadian, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.

Previous Registered Master Electrician – Topnotchers
Nelvin Dela Torre Galupo of the University of Eastern Philippines-Catarman and Kenneth Christian Tolentino Guiwo of Isabela State University-Iligan ranked first in the April 2023 RME Board exam with 95.00% ratings. It was followed by Kenneth Lovino Saldo of the University of Eastern Philippines-Catarman with 93.50% rating.
In the September 2022 RME Board Exam, Kin Basa Amata of Capiz State University(CIT)(PSPC)-Main Campus topped the exam with 95.00%. John Mark Sampaga Licuanan of Isabela State University-Iligan came second with 94.50%.
In April 2022 RME, Rodriner Casugbo Billones of Capiz State University (CITXPSPC)-Main Campus ranked first in the board exam with 93.00%. It was followed by Jerico Fajutagana Morpi of De La Salle University – Lipa with 91.50%.
In the September 2021 RME Board Exam, Franchesca Louise Hernandez Lajara of De La Salle University – Lipa aced the exam with 93.00%. It was followed by Bryan Bautista Estaris of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines – Main-Sta. Mesa with 92.50%.
Carlo Latorre Padilla of Batangas State University – Alangilan and Charlene Bolanos Wong of the Laguna State Polytechnic Univ-Sn San Pablo (LSPC) both aced the September 2019 RME board exam with 94.00% ratings.
In April 2019, Kenneth Martija Bolima and Aldwin Plta Mercado both Dela Salle University – Lipa shared the first spot in the RME board exam with 94.00% ratings.
Registration of Successful Examinees
The online registration schedule for the issuance of PRC ID and Certificate of Registration for passers of the RME Licensure Exam will be from October 9 – 13, October 16 – 20 and October 23, 2023. The successful examinees are advised to register on PRC’s official website and follow the instructions for online registration.
Those who successfully registered online are required to bring the following:
- Duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal (downloadable)
- Notice of Admission (for identification purposes only)
- Two pieces of passport-sized ID pictures (white background and complete name tag)
- Two sets of documentary stamps
- One piece of the short brown envelope
Verification of Ratings
The Verification of Ratings (VoR) for the September 2023 RME Licensure Exam will be available online a few days after the result has been posted.
The successful examinees need the following information as it is required to fill out the following fields:
- Name of Exam
- Examination date
- Application number
- First name and Surname
- Date of birth
Target Date of Release
As per previous releases of RME Licensure Exam results and the target release date written in the PRC Resolution No. 1283 series of 2020, the September 2023 RME board exam results are expected to be out in 4 working days after the last day of exams. However, it may also be released earlier or later than the said dates without prior announcement(s).
