TOPNOTCHERS: Social Workers Board Exam September 2023

MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) releases the complete list of top 10 examinees /topnotchers for the September 2023 Social Workers Licensure Exam (SWLE) in three (3) working days after the exams.

PRC announces that 3,878 out of 6,833 passed the Licensure Examination for Social Workers.

The licensure exams for Social Workers were administered by the PRC and Board for Social Workers headed by its Chairman, Lorna C. Gabad, and its members, Mary Ofelia L. Endaya, Rosetta G. Palma, Fe J. Sinsona, and Ely B. Acosta.

The PRC and the Board of Social Workers administered the exams on September 18-20, 2023 at NCR/Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Koronadal, Iloilo, Legaspi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga

Previous Social Workers (SWLE) topnotchers

Gian Paul Cajilig Salanio of the University of the Philippines-Diliman ranked first in the September 2022 SWLE with 88.80% rating. Nevien Siquira Mariz Dandoy of the Colegio De San Francisco Javier came second spot with 88.20%.

Allain Matteo Ferrer Meneses of the University of the Philippines-Diliman topped the February 2022 SWLE with 85.60%. Jennifer Macalma Mones of Asian Social Institute came second with 84.80%.

In August 2021 SWLE, Digna Millondaga De Guzman of the University of the Philippines-Diliman topped the exam with 83.00%. It was followed by Moriah Palero Tambura of Caraga State University – Butuan City with 82.20%.

In the SWLE, Gezelle Anne Viray Garcia of the Don Honorario Ventura Technological State University ranked first in the February 2021 SWLE with an average of 83.80%. Following in the second spot who garnered 83.20% is Artem Reynald Sarmiento Makipagay of the St, Mary Magdalene Colleges of Laguna, Inc. – Calamba.

In the SWLE, Lilibeth Francisco Torres of the Wesleyan University – Philippines – Cabanatuan City campus topped in August 2019 SWLE with an average of 83.60% while Xhelxea Francesca Avesruz Lerios of the Leyte Normal University placed in second with an average of 83.20%.

In the SWLE, Constancia Magbalot Domingo of the Saint Paul University (SPU) – Tuguegarao ranked first in July 2018 SWLE with an average of 85.00% while Jairah Regala and Kenjay Numeron Salvaleon, both from the University of Mindanao (UM) – Davao City, shared on the second spot with an average of 84.20%.

Registration of Successful Examinees

The schedule of the online registration for the issuance of PRC ID and Certificate of Registration for passers of the Social Workers Licensure Exam will be announced from October 25 – 27 and October 30 – 31, 2023. The successful examinees are advised to register on PRC’s official website and follow the instructions for online registration.

Those who successfully registered online are required to bring the following:

  • Duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal (downloadable)
  • Notice of Admission (for identification purposes only)
  • Two pieces of passport-sized ID pictures (white background and complete name tag)
  • Two sets of documentary stamps
  • One piece of the short brown envelope

Verification of Ratings

The Verification of Ratings (VoR) for the September 2023 Social Workers Licensure Exam will be available online a few days after the result has been posted.

The successful examinees need the following information as it is required to fill out the following field:

  • Name of Exam (e.g., Social Workers)
  • Exam)
  • Examination date
  • Application number
  • First name and Surname
  • Date of birth

Target Date of Release

As per previous releases of Social Workers licensure exam results and the target release date written in the PRC Resolution No. 1283 series of 2020, the September 2023 Social Workers Licensure Exam results are expected to be out in three (3) working days after the last day of exams. However, it may also be released earlier or later than the said dates without prior announcement(s).
