Manila, Philippines– Vice President Leni Robredo on Wednesday, May 19 got her first shot of AstraZeneca’s COVID-19 vaccine in Quezon City.
In a Facebook post, VP Leni said that she’s done with her first dose of vaccine along with other 18 staffs from her office, who fall under the A3 category or persons with comorbidities at Pinyahan Elementary School in Quezon City.
VP Leni described her vaccination journey as “seamless“.
“Done with my 1st dose of the vaccine. Now being monitored. Everything has been seamless. We booked at QC Protektodo site via EZ Consult last May 13 for an appointment today. 18 of us from OVP, all A3s went together. Yung ibang mga kasama ko today yung mga nag urong sulong nung nakaraan”, VP Leni said.
VP Leni previously disclosed that she has hypertension.

Julius, one of the office drivers of VP Leni refused to get the vaccination program but instead offer to retire from his work but when Leni convince the driver, he has nothing to do but get vaccinated.
“Katabi ko sa picture si Julius. Isa sa mga office drivers. Ayaw na ayaw dati. Mahabang kumbinsihan. In fact, sinasabi niya kanina, mag reretire nalang siya Ngayon tapos na kami. Happy na siya. Sabi niya, first time in his life siya na inject”, VP Leni Robredo said.

Maraming salamat sa team dito sa Pinyahan Elementary School sa Quezon City. Sobrang maayos proseso. Mabilis ang hintayan kasi super organized. Salamat din kay Nurse Raffy na siyang nag vaccinate sa akin. Napakagaan ng kamay. Wala akong halos naramdaman.
She also encouraged the everyone to get vaccinated for everyone to be protected.
Magbakuna na din kayo para protektado kayo at ang lahat ng nakakasalamuha niyo. Tingnan niyo yung group pic namin. Maraming takot sa umpisa pero may konting yabang na nung nagpakuha ng litrato”
